Welcome to the Sorella Lash and Beauty Training academy for Lash Artists. My name is Catalina Garcia and I am the founder of Sorella and the creator of all of our training programs. If you have landed here it is because you are one decision away from a totally different life. Becoming a lash artist has given my life so much purpose and has opened doors for me that I never in a million years thought would be. When I made the decision to become a lash artist, I was a telemarketer living paycheck to paycheck like many of us just looking for a side hustle to make some extra cash for trips and savings. Little did I know that it would lead me to becoming the successful owner of a brand that I live and breathe for doing what I love every single day. What will be your success story? Our programs are divided into two categories: Beginner and Advanced. Any of our beginner programs are for first time artists that are new to the technique and have never taken a class before. These programs are always two days long and spend more time on the foundation principles of lashing which are: prep, isolation, and placement. Our advanced programs lightly cover those topics but mainly focus on the actual technique and hands on practice. Advanced programs were created for seasoned lash artists that are looking to continue their education.

The Sorella Lash and beauty beginner’s program gives you a hands-on training experience covering how to properly apply classic lash extensions by a master lash artist. Classic extensions are the building blocks of the lash industry which makes this the most important course that you will take in your career as an artist. We really understand the importance of this course which is why it is two days long and why we do not combine this course with any other advanced techniques such as volume. We believe in building a strong foundation so that learning advanced techniques in the future are fully absorbed and easier apply.

All of our courses are carefully created with all learning styles in mind. We understand that not everyone learns the same which is why our course incorporates video/photo visuals, detailed manual, worksheets, discussions, and hands on practice with both a mannequin and a live model to ensure that a visual, auditory, read/write, or kinesthetic leaner can get the most out of our course. The first day we cover theory, explore all kit components, and conduct practice drills on a mannequin; all of which prepare you for a live model demonstration the following day. The Sorella Lash and beauty advanced course gives you a hands-on training experience covering how to properly create fans and apply Volume extensions by a master lash artist. Created for artists that are completely new to the technique. We teach 3 different fanning techniques including: lonely fan, pinching, and shimmying. It is important to know more than one technique to be able to troubleshoot during an off day. Versatility is a key component in our teaching style and is what really makes our courses truly unique. We don’t just teach one way of any technique. What may work for one may not work for all which is why our founder and creator of our courses is multi certified in different techniques and is constantly continuing her education to keep our programs up to date.

The Sorella Lash and Beauty Advanced program for Classic extensions was created as a refresher course for lash artists that are struggling with the technique. This is a 1 day 4 hour class dedicated to correcting common mistakes and learning styling techniques. This course is truly tailored to each individual artists’ struggles which is why it is only offered as a private class. Although this course comes complete with our manual, only the specific topics that the artist would like to focus on is covered. After two hours of chosen theory this course jumps right into live model practice for the remaining two hours.

Please do not book this course if you do not have prior experience with lash extensions.

This course includes a complete kit to start your journey as well as access to our private amazon list that keeps our students up to date on what we are using at Sorella as well as 15% off of our lash trays. A Certificate of Completion is earned upon completion of our program.

The Sorella Lash and Beauty Advanced program for Volume extensions was created as a refresher course for lash artists that are struggling with the technique. This is a 1 day 5 hour class dedicated to correcting common mistakes and learning styling techniques. This course is truly tailored to each individual artists’ struggles which is why it is only offered as a private class. Although this course comes complete with our manual, only the specific topics that the artist would like to focus on is covered. After two hours of chosen theory this course jumps right into live model practice for the remaining three hours.

One on One Price: $650

Although our courses are very thorough, it is impossible to cover the back-end side of being a lash artist without lengthening the class and that’s just not an option as they are already long as it is. Which is why we created this option to cover topics that frequently get lost in the midst of our standard courses.

Frequently covered topics are:

• organizing and managing inventory
• accounting
• taxes
• confidentiality
• running ads
• setting up a booking website
• policies

Although these are common topics the call is not limited to them and can be tailored to your needs. However, a topic much be specified prior to the call.
